    CA Best lower brands?

What do people in CA currently feel is the nicest brand AR lower?

Back before the ban Colt was considered the brand to have. Does this still hold true?

I see all sorts of lowers with really nice build qualities in CA now.

Xenophobe made a thread on the subject a long time ago.

I can't find it. If you care you can dig it up.

Most lowers are the same, some have a nicer finish than others, but as long as they're not Vulcan/Hesse (most frequently out of spec compared to other manufacturers), they're typically going to be just fine.

Lately Kaiser Defense has been all the rage on the fit and finish department.

Then there are the billet lowers...

I recommend you pick up a Calguns lower right now. Made by Kaiser and a % of the purchase goes to the Calguns foundation. I know in my area, JK Supply Co has them in stock.

Its my opinion that they are all pretty much the same, and it just comes down to luck on matching the finish or the perfect fitment... I have a CMMG and a Spikes, and have no complaints about either. The CMMG matched up VERY nicely with my LMT upper.

I own a Colt and a Bushmaster RAW lower but it looks like all the Post ban lowers are so much nicer. I'm really kind of jealous. Yes I could buy a Post ban but why since I own RAW's.

Noveske(although they're made by another company), LMT and if it were possible Colt would be my choices. Realistically they're all pretty much the same, so just choose whatever logo you like more.

I really like my CMMG and Charles Daly lowers. Both excellent quality.

So far for me the Kaiser Defense lowers have been the best. I have a S&W, Territorial Arms, and the KD lowers. The KD has the best fit and finish, and they are good people too! I had a chance to talk with the owner at Del Mar, one of the good guys for sure.

I purchased one of the KD lowers in the interest of supporting a local company. I ended up having to swap out buffers tubes until I found one with small threads - the threads in the lower were slightly undersize. This has also been documented in the past by several others. Stuff happens, but IMHO this should be gauged fairly often...... Lots of good lowers out there.

                        all the best,
                        Mike

                          Agreed.

You've seen Kaiser Defense mentioned a few times now in this thread, so obviously the quality is up there. CalGuns rollmarks and $20 of your purchase goes straight to Calguns...what's not to like? Information Here.

does anyone have a reason why the one they choose is the best?
