    Silicone gun sacks

As I was getting ready to go out this weekend and pulled a couple of rifles out of the safe I noticed some fingerprint smudges on the receiver and I had wiped them down when I put them in there, so I was wondering if anyone use those silicon gun socks for storage and how good they work.

I use them all the time, they work great. They also cushion against dings when you're loading guns in and out of the safe.

I've been using them for over 20 years, and they work great for me. I carefully wipe down everything I touch before it goes back in the safe, inside a sock. Mine are the thicker soft ones, like these...

Typically available at gun shows for about $10.

I recently bought a few of these thinner ones, but not sure I trust them yet. They would make fitting the guns into the safe a lot easier as the thick ones take up more room. They sound good, but the others have worked for many years, so it's hard to switch.

        Hope this helps.

Been using Bore Stores for more than 10 years. As was stated they are bulky but do a great job in protecting the firearm against dings and oxidation.

That would be more useful than a CG hat.

went to my local FFL and got a quantity discount for handgun and longgun ones, for 32 only paid $112 for all of them.
                              Very good price.
Now I'm all socked in. LOL
