Which ones should I keep?

Rifle: 10/22, huge aftermarket support. everyone needs a .22
Shotgun: 870, but not sure what the VR model is? Ventilated Rib barrel?

Handguns: Ruger P95, Ruger P97, Star 45, Glock 30, SW 357, HK45

Rifles: Ruger 10-22, Marlin 60, Marlin Papoose, Ruger Mini 14, AK .223, Savage .270, Marlin 336, SKS Paratrooper, SKS Russian, SKS Albanian

Shotguns: Mossberg M590A1, Remington Express 870 VR, Remington 11-87 Police

Let me know what you guys think, 1 each from the category and reason for choice. Thanks.

I'm debating on thinning out my collection and just want to keep 1 of each: handgun, rifle, shotgun. What are your thoughts?

Why would you do this?

Guns are like real estate: once you have it, never let it go. And if the worst comes to pass, the guns will be a whole lot more valuable than real estate.

Rifles: Keep: SKS Russian or the .22. Well, lever actions are pretty cool......

Shotguns: Keep: Remington 11-87 Police. I just don't dig pump actions. Actually, get rid of this one, I'll take it ;-)

As time passes I occasionally get the idea to refine my collection, or my taste changes. What ive come to realize is there is only one gun I DONT regret selling. I adopted a policy that I may trade my guns from time to time but I rarely sell them. As a matter of fact ive been looking for another HK4 to replace the I sold about 4 years ago. If you need to raise funds for your family well, do what you have to do. Id say keep them all because you dont know what will be available in the future. Good luck!
