Which ones should I keep?

I'm debating on thinning out my collection and just want to keep 1 of each: handgun, rifle, shotgun. What are your thoughts?

Handguns: Ruger P95, Ruger P97, Star 45, Glock 30, SW 357, HK45

Rifles: Ruger 10-22, Marlin 60, Marlin Papoose, Ruger Mini 14, AK .223, Savage .270, Marlin 336, SKS Paratrooper, SKS Russian, SKS Albanian

Shotguns: Mossberg M590A1, Remington Express 870 VR, Remington 11-87 Police

Let me know what you guys think, 1 each from the category and reason for choice. Thanks.

You can start debating keeping them all...

That being said, if you're in SoCal, keeping the SKSs is mroe trouble than it's worth, so let me know how much you want for them

I just want to apologize to the OP, you asked a question and haven't gotten any real answers. Here goes:

For the shotgun, definitely save the m590.

For the rifle, save the 10-22. I would also save an sks, but if you are only going to save one, it MUST be the 10-22.

I am not familiar with any of those handguns in a personal way so don't have too much advice there other than save a 9mm, or other very common caliber.

if you must sell, decide which one in each catagory that you like the most and keep it.

Hmm, tough decision thinning out to 1 per type...

I really like my Marlin Model 60, moreso than the 10/22. So I would say keep the model 60. Plus, .22lr ammo is cheap enough to keep shooting right now.

As for handguns, I'm partial to the S&W .357.

Shotguns are great, but I don't know much about the ones you mentioned, so I say keep the one that you can use best for HD, whichever you choose that to be.

Glock 30 - small for concealment
AK .223 - old reliable
Mossberg M590A1 - with the open load gate this one can be loaded fast.

While I miss my Russian SKS they are not pleasant to shoot stock.

Well it would be more precise if you can give a reason why you are thinning your collection. If you are strap for cash, you should sell the firearm that renders the most $$.

I would say keep your glock or your .357, your moss 590a1, ruger 1022 and your ak or mini 14 depending on your taste , and if you decide to let your papoose go I sure would be interested (little side note there )

In all honesty, you will regret selling most of those firearms should the time come that you actually do.

Having said that, If I were you, I'd keep the HK45, the Albanian or Paratroop SKS, and the Mossberg 590. Those would be my personal choices.

For practical choices, I'd probably keep the Savage .270 rifle.
