Need a San Francisco FFL for a PPT

I am purchasing a handgun in San Francisco this weekend through a PPT, can yall please suggest a FFL. The seller didn't seem to know a place. I'm driving in from out of town and don't know the area, would appreciate your help.

actually Highbridge is closed Thursday-Friday (IIRC) but are available Sunday and Monday.

minus 10 for Jackson Arms. They do the PPT, but during that process they do everything possible to convince you to not be their future customer. "Sure, come on down for your Handgun Safety Certificate, we have them here.". You arrive, they mysteriously don't have any once they find out you are going to do a PPT. You do the PPT there anyway (after finding an HSC testing location), but for some reason the MFG lock was just fine when you were filling out the paperwork and checking in the weapon, but when you pick up the weapon, no no no, you need to buy one from us, that won't do. I think its just one person there to be honest, but the experience we had lately with City Arms vs Jackson is night and day. City is 25 minutes away, but well worth the drive. Jackson is 5 minutes away, but I certainly could do w/o the changing stories and jackass attitude.

Jackson, you got my $12 for a lock, but lost a good customer.

I recommend seeing City Arms in Pacifica for good quality service.

Never had a problem with Jackson, fast and they will do PPT up until they close and they are open 7 days a week. With the lock issye, if it's PPT, they require a receipt for lock within last 30 days. For new handgun purchases, the included lock will ususally suffice.

City arms is cool, but they close by 7.

i have no issue with following the rules - just the story changed every time i spoke to them. i've had been there before and had no issues with them. i think this must be a recent thing. have gone to J&R, Antioch Armory, Irvington, and never had such of a runaround as I got with Jackson. felt like i was trying to buy a gun through my petulant sister when she hit puberty.

A little late but came across this post. I do my last FFL at Cash Loan Inc in South San Francisco. It's right on Grand Ave and it is actually a pawn shop.
My experience was so-so as the guy was b*tching when I picked up my revolver because I showed up 5 minutes after 5 PM. He spent 5 minutes grumbling about how long the paper work process takes, blah, blah, blah. Luckily an older lady came to my defense and told him she said it was fine as I actually called her earlier that day plus the whole transaction only took 10 minutes. They close @ 6:00 PM. (Just expect to get some rudeness, it is a pawn shop afterall).

I dont think I would trust a pawn shop. That's just me.

No thanks. If they're good enough to take my money, then I expect a little customer service. I'll take my $$ elsewhere. JMHO
