      How about 3 magazine full of 9mm + 1 in the chamber = 46 rounds, and 5 rounds in a 5 shot 38 Spl.

I have less than I want and probably more than I will ever need, I am stocking 14 different chamberings right now and reloading for 11 of them, and the size of the stash keeps growing. Its a disease I think. I always manage to pack away more than I shoot, I just don't know what to do. I can't sleep at night unless something is on order, back order or in transit to my place. Someone please help, maybe we should start a group and call it AA, ammoholics anonymous

Got components for a another 1200 .45acp, and some for Beowulf but I'm real low on .500 bullets.

It's not really an issue of how much I have, but whether or not it's worth shooting the more expensive calibers as opposed to selling them.

Enough, Happens that I took a picture for record keeping purposes a few weeks back... I have added a bit more of each caliber and some more HST's but this is 95% of mine.

                  Enough for me at least.

Way less than I'd like to have, but probably more than I should really have based on lack of money.

After some ammo shopping this weekend, and picking up some for an upcoming course, here's what mine looks like today:

                        6500 - 5.56 mm
                        1100 - .45 ACP
                        2200 - .40 S&W
                        1300 - .357 Magnum
                        200 - .38 Special
                        1700 – 9 mm
350 – 12 gauge (assorted buck, slugs and shot)
                        1250 – .22 lr

Still need some more .22lr, 12 gauge buckshot, and hollow points for HD.

                            John, Helpful tip!
Don't just make tons of ammo without test firing those loads you made.
If you need to chrono those loads and compare them to factory ammo let me know. I have one.
Cause if something is wrong with those loads it's a pain in the neck to bullet pull each and every load.

I was unemployed most of the last year, so buying ammunition was out of the question. I rely on a good stock of powder, primers, and bullets for reloading and I tend to load far, far more than I'd actually shoot in a couple of years.

I did, however, purchase 500 PMC 45A and 500 Federal .308 150 FMJ at Traders shortly after becoming employed, and that took the total number of ready rounds to an all time high of 16,169.
