Good timing. I just counted it all the other day as I was moving it to a new cabinet.

              5,800 rds - .22lr
              2,000 rds - .223
              520 rds - .308
              3,600 rds - 9mm
              1,825 rds - .45 auto
              1,750 rds - .38
              300 rds - .357 mag
              300 rds - .44 mag......and I don't even have a .44 magnum gun yet

These proportions are just about right as to how much I shoot of each, so now I'm just trying to replace what I shoot. If the SHTF, I think I can defend my condo with what I have on hand.

Ammo prices have put a sizable dent in my ammo inventory.

I haven't bought much since November 08' from the price hikes, and have stopped checking out Walmart since April 09'.

                              As of today I'm at:

                              .22LR: 4,550
                              .380: 63
                              .38 spl: 43
                              9mm: 8,075
                              40S&W: 55 (I don't even own a .40S&W )
                              .44 Magnum: 175
                              .45 ACP: 5,762

                              .223/5.56: 880
                              .308/7.62x51: 1,120
