I'd get the Python but only to sell it off later for something I'd rather have. Why you ask? I have an M1 Super 90 that I'm more than happy with and I also have a 70s (IIRC) vintage Python in Royal Blue. So...I think the Python would have the better resale value.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

Clones are not up to the same durable combat reliability / proven system as a Benelli M4 / 1014 original SG.
Those SG's copies may be nice - but we are speaking about the Benellis that have a proven record in military and combat / SD roles -Vida Loca Homes

While i dont have the precise model number referenced, i have both the m4 and python. Different tools and a different purpose. My vote, get both when you are ready. The prices have stabilized considerably==================================
