Birthday gift new colt python vs benelli m4

What would you rather receive for a birthday gift?

    New model Colt python
    4 inch stainless
    357 magnum
    $1600

    Brand new benelli m4 (m1014)
    Black color
    12 gauge
With pinned collapsible stock (ca compliant)
    $2200

Which would you choose and why? (Quality, resale value, more fun, etc)

Man, I just came back from Rifle Gear and they had the baddest green M4 for like $1899. Never seen a green one. I was tempted.

Hey I got the M1014 for my bday last year.

Guess my vote goes for the M1014.

Simple: $3800, $2200 or $1600 in that order.

              M4 is the logical answer.

I'd take the M4 only because it would leave only the M1 to complete a collection.

Understand that you're likely looking at another $150-$300 for the m4 to swap out the factory five round magazine tube for a 7 rounder, etc., depending on which tube you go with and whether or not you care about swapping two other parts to keep it 922r compliant. YMMV.

I'd still go with the m4 though.

Would probably shoot a noncollectible colt a lot if it fit my hands well. Not much use (for me) for a tactical shotgun but if I did that seems like a good choice.

I will flip the guy above, 38, 16, 22 in that order.

Why would you spend all that money on a collapsible stock if you're just going to pin it?
