    FN 5.7 or Ruger 5.7?

I am in the market for a 5.7 pistol. I have been looking at the FN 5.7 and the Ruger 5.7. I don't know much about this firearm. In your opinion, which firearm would you choose and why? Thanks!

I have seen the FN be finicky. The ruger pistol is REAL nice and well built. I would say that I’m not a big fan of ruger but their new pistols are pretty nice. That and the FN trigger and ergonomics suck. Just my option. The 5.7 round and capacity is pretty cool. Feels like shooting 22lr.

One is on roster the other comes with a Ca premium. Don't know if that factors into your decision making or not.

From what I've read the FN is a bit more ammo picky than the Ruger seems to be. The Ruger may be a better choice, if you can find one without a huge Ca markup.

I’ve got a FiveseveN, and mine has been flawless. I’ve shot FN and Eagle ammo out of it, as well as my own reloads, and haven’t had an issue.

I have no experience with the Ruger… might be hard to find someone with experience with both, but I have no qualms recommending the FN.

FN is probably more expensive but nothing wrong with ruger

With how much the fn is, even with ca premium the ruger version might be the same or cheaper price

I went with the Ruger 57 and I’m happy with the choice. Now I’m thinking of adding the LC Carbine.

haven’t held the ruger yet but i have held the fn. hate the placement of the safety. that alone is a deal breaker for me.

Look at the PSA 5.7. It's a real nice pistol.

PSA 5.7 is not legal in CA. I would have jumped on it.

have you experience any jamming issues with your Ruger 57? I was on their instagram page and on the review for the Ruger 57, there were a few comments about issues with jamming because of the magazine the way it's loading up the ammo?
