      If you want to sell ammo out of state, does the 500 round limit still apply? Don't see how it could really. Thanks.

        It probably does. Can they catch you? It would be much harder since you don't have to go through an FFL. Is the premise for the law legitimate? Hell no. They don't want you to be an ammo dealer. Why? I haven't seen any good answer, since nobody else does that.

          I sold my excess ammo across state line in Nevada. 7k rounds in one sale.

                That's what I was wondering also... I suspect very few do, at least for private party sales.

                  Very few on this forum know the laws regarding selling ammo. As soon as I tell a potential buyer they have to do a background check and I can only sell 500 rds a month I can guarantee I'll never hear from them again
