Needs to transfer through an ammunition dealer.
All FFL dealers in CA are also ammunition dealers but all of them won't necessarily do ammo transfers so you gotta call around and see who does them near you.
You can sell up to 500 rounds per month.

If the buyer is an 03FFL/COE, he can buy directly from you.

Most work done while you wait on a scheduled shop visit.

Don't bother calling Turners, they do not transfer ammo.

No limit for the 03FFL/COE to receive.
He can buy 500 rounds per month from as many different private sellers as he wants.
The limit is the amount that an unlicensed individual seller can sell.

This is to stop people from buying and reselling for profit without an ammunition dealers license.

I think you may find the non-chain gun shops or home FFL’s a better bet for someone willing to do an ammo transfer.

If you provide your location, I’m sure you’ll get a bunch of recommendations for your area.

I'm in the San jose area. What is needed on my end? Just my ID?

Just to add, selling reloads is a no no too.

                        No.
There is no ammo bound book.

An ammo bound book probably never occurred to the AFT. This ammo thing is kali only.

I'm sure that's how all of the posters in the "Private Ammo Sales" forum are doing it.
