I like fullsize 1911s, Glock 17 and 21, and Midframe double action revolvers.

I shot my daughter's 43x not long ago. The trigger was better than I thought it would be.

I scolded her about how dirty she let it get. Then we cleaned/oiled it up together just like the old days.

I like my 1911's. No plastic handguns for me and I'm too old to change. Just don't care for the feel of striker fired pistols. My carry options are either an Officers ACP or Sig P938 SAS. The SIG has the same manual of arms as the 1911 with the exception of the grip safety.

Thing about Glocks is, your not worried about them when out in the desert or sticks. They can take abuse and get scratched up and you wont really care all that much. Its a Glock, designed to take on the elements.

Glock 17 that's a bit over 4 years old is on my permit. It's a reliable workhorse and I shoot it well.

Sell all 1911s. Seek to acquire Glock. Enjoy reliability, working on your own gun, accuracy and a wide variety of calibers.

                      I might even get another one...in 10mm.

                      That is all.
You sound like me. I'm mostly a revolver guy, with a couple of 1911's. A month ago, I bought my first Glock, a M17 Gen 3. It, too, shoots well.

If you want to go 10mm Auto, then I'd suggest the Model 20. It's got enough heft to help out with handling the power of the 10mm round.

Die hard 1911 and BHP devotee ... often scoffed at the notion of plastic guns.

3D printer and cranking out "Glock" 17 and 26 frames because I can ... I no longer am dismissive of the tupoerware.
