GunBroker Question

Hello everyone. Recently I been getting emails that say TransGuardian.com on them after I bought two guns from GunBroker. On the email it also contains my tracking number for the firearms I purchased. Is this normal? I bought firearms from GunBroker before and I never had those emails come through. This is also happening after the fact that I had an issue with GunBroker recently.

Sounds like a new alternative in sending firearms and like if they were to expand. Maybe less BS considering what happens mysteriously at Fedex re-distribution centers and the like.

The above post pretty much explains it. They are a "service" used to ship product. Kind of like Stamps.com. The service will help the shipper get the best rate for the package they are shipping. The service then sends you an email with the tracking number from whichever carrier was picked.

Companies like this charge their users a fee to ship through them. They then add all of their users together and go to all the major shipping companies; USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc, and get the best rate for all their users. The more users they have shipping more packages, the better the rates are. It helps smaller shippers get better rates than just opening an account with say UPS or FedEx.
