Its whatever the Signed contract says? You filled out their "custom" form, i saw on their website, they didn't execute??

In all honesty, they did a really amazing job, the gun looks absolutely fantastic, they just butchered what I wanted the optics cut to be. Now I really don't have any options, I'm ****ed.

Well, at least you can find Glock replacement slides for sale if this really bothers you... I would try to make the slide work first with a red dot sight and see if you like how it functions...

Since the slide is serialized to the receiver and factory barrel they might have to make right and replace the whole firearm to make you whole.

That is if you care about that. If not they can source out a stock or aftermarket slide.

Depends on contract, depends on how you feel.

Me I would have left the stock slide alone, bought a aftermarket or factory slide with the optic cutout and plate adaptors
                ^This.

If they aren't going to make it right with a replacement firearm, they should at least comp you for the hassle. Yes, you can make it with work with the adaptor plate, but it won't be the same as if you ran it with the direct RDS on the slide.

I expected better service from a "big" name like Wilson Combat...

Another Glock…. Ruined. Sorry for your loss. When is the funeral for that Glock?

It’s why I don’t have any of my guns touched by milling machines, nor do I do stippling. There’s truly no need for any of that for a combat handgun.

Was this going to be a competition gun, defensive weapon or a range toy?
…unless one desires a bling bling range trophy, there’s no need for it all. Sadly, you’ll NEVER ever look at that gun the same way no matter what.

This is why getting a red dot slide is always a good option. Doing a non-reversible major modification is a leap of faith to some degree. Original slides are not easy to come by. I prefer buying a rmr slide to getting my OEM slide cut up.

In case anyone cares for an update - Spoke to them today, they did indeed **** up the slide cuts, not only did they do the wrong type of cut, they also cut it for an adapter plate for the wrong type of red dot sight...

The customer service rep said he is going to reach out to Glock and get a new slide from the factory, do all the proper work and have it mailed out to me 3-4 weeks from now. Sucks, but it is what it is.

Have them replace the whole gun so your slide serial number matches your frame serial number.
With a new slide that's not serialized to the frame, your gun is not worth as much as the same gun that has matching serial numbers.
They also need to pay your FFL fees since the new gun will have to be DROSed to you when it returns.

In the meantime, while you are waiting for Wilson Combat to negotiate with Glock for a new slide, if you want to shoot, you can order a G34 Delta point slide from Brownells. $270.

I'm sure you want to try out the optic and get some range time in.

They ended up giving me a free SRO to go with the new optics cut. It's not what I wanted, and it sucks that one of my competition guns will have a different type of sight, since I train on ONLY DPP's

BUT I think they were extremely nice about making things right, and I am happy with the result. Also, I get to keep my original serialized slide. I'll attach some pics below.
