Yeah I have the same experience. Just before each of my shots some idiot in the gallery yells "It's in the same hole!"

It's the people playing music and video on mobile devices that I hate. Can't really do anything about it, but I agree: distracting.

That said, the ISSF is now (or at least was) encouraging noise during International shooting events: music, cheering, shouting, etc. ChampCar can probably verify the current state of thinking on this.

Funny you say that. Last time I went out I had my wife and her friend stand behind me and yell at me. I figure if I can still hit my targets with the wife yelling at me , I should be ok in the real world. Hopefully.....

After a few shots with my short barrel 30.06, the shockwave and muzzle blast usually shuts them up.

Many times they moved to a different lane.

My old partner use to tell me, his teeth rattled when I fired it, even when he stood 5 feet behind me.
