2A makes no distinction about qualification with firearms.
Don't take part in being a filter when it comes to natural rights of men and women.
Be responsible for your own actions and act accordingly.
That ccw class charges money to qual? They took money from the guy and didn't mention safe gun handling prior to the class? Hmm? I wonder to myself if this was an oversight or something else to just get paid.Comment

You have to remember also the 2A was written in a time when most everyone knew how to handle a firearm. The 2A has been so vigorously attacked over the last 100 years that a lot of people are now scared of firearms rather than see them as an everyday tool like they are.

When I took my recertification class at Artemis Defense Institute at Lake Forest, there was a dry fire portion where they went through everything from draw/grip to changing mags.
Their instruction was so effective that I was able to qualify with multiple firearms (125 shots).

There are people on this forum who can't even figure out what clothes to wear to an interview without asking everyone else, but I wouldn't say they shouldn't be able to carry. There are enough who talk about concealed carry as if it's an intramural sport in elementary school too but that also has nothing to do with the right. then there are those who actually want "cool" guns for concealed carry but as with all the rest, that has nothing to do with the right.
Its not for anyone to send someone to Darwin's grinder, it's just interesting to see those who participate of their own volition.
The right shall not be infringed; for every one we might think shouldn't carry for one reason or another, there are 10,000 right in this state who think we shouldn't either, let's not help them.
Were I to see someone like that I might wonder if there was more to it and the instructor should have as well. For all anyone knows, the guy got out of his car and suffered a mini-stroke-, got a phone call someone close him just died, he lost $100,000 in the stock market who knows? Getting the guy to the side and having another instructor or RSO talk to him was the way to go, not just fail him and send him on his way. Find out if there was more to it and if he just wasn't qualified - ok - deal with that according to policy but don't just become part of the meat grinder.
I am not saying anyone needs to be a social worker, but the guy shows up with a gun, apparently is a danger to others ("The target was the safest thing to hide behind.") and that should give pause to those running that operation to do more than a FU, fail and see ya.

Don't worry, it will never pass...How in the hell did that pass?

Every California indoor range I’ve ever been to has a ceiling that looks like Swiss cheese.
I still support your guys right to carry. None are even a hundred times as bad as Alec Baldwin.
So they've got that going for 'em.
