I'll double check, but I think that upper was having the same issue with the BCG. I have both types of their uppers including a side charging to test out.

As the 9mm is not mil spec... if you don't tinker, can you buy a complete gun?

If it does not feed or cycle right, you can send it in for work?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Yes, there's a few manufacturers that have complete rifles as noted in this thread.

You can also DIY by purchasing a complete lower/upper from the same mfg in order to do the compliance work yourself.

My NFA C-9 Lower/C-9 Upper build has been flawless.

I have the g9-4 bolt works in both spikes glock and nfa mp5 lower.

                Edit: G4-9 bolt.

For a good mag adapter option, check out Stern Defense. Good reviews, including from Miculek (see his PCC YouTube review video). I used it together with their complete 16 upper and BCG on a standard Anderson AR15 lower build and no hiccups after a couple of matches.

I've got one of those too. It weighs a ton.

I'm using a complete upper from NFA on a few test builds and the BCG that comes with it is not compatible with the LRBHO of the lowers which is what I wanted to test.
Faxon BCG, faxon barrel. Spikes upper receiver. Spikes buffer and .308 buffer spring.

For these loads, velocity from 18" barrel higher than the same barrel cut to 10. Certainly not lower, although that is possible with light loads: http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/9luger.html

The longer barrel takes some intensity out of the muzzle blast. It may also increase slight radius. The rifle length and stock improves general handling and aiming stability.

New Frontier Armory has a few 16" options that can use Glock mags. They'll also make the rifle CA compliant for you prior to shipping to FFL if you pay for the service and parts. If you prefer just the upper, they have a some options as well.
