Yes, there are non "Panther" marked lowers.

    And yes, Panthers are deadly.

I’m looking for a California legal, DPMS AR-15 lower. I know the ones that say “panther” on them are forbidden.

Is there a version that doesn’t say panther on it? Does a California legal version even exist? How the hell does the word “panther” make a gun so evil that this dumb ***** state makes it illegal?

Sorry for the rant. Thanks in advance for any help.
Please send complaints to Patrick Purdy, though he used an AK. (You'll need a Ouija Board) That incident pushed the 'assault weapon' law over the hump to passage. See the wiki article, http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/in...Weapon%27_laws

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

One of the models that was selling with a bullet button was an A3 Oracle a few years ago. I think the mini SASS might have also been sold around that time.

Or to be considered an assault weapon would they have to prove that's an original DPMS panther that was manufactured during certain dates?

Can I get one marked Cougar?

                  For reasons.

                  (FDE with tan lines?)

His offer was nowhere near the level that an "I want this almost impossible to find item" should be.
His offer was lower than you can typically walk into an average local gun store and purchase a random brand lower.

Are you sure you wouldn't like a nice AR pistol for $100 as well?

No thank you. I appreciate the offer though.

If I could buy one from them, instead of price gougers on calguns, I would.
                              Unfortunately I cannot legally though.
If you can just buy them for $70, just buy one...
If you can't just buy them because they are illegal, then they are not a fair price comparison.
The legal ones are obviously worth more than the illegal ones in CA just like off-roster handguns are more valuable than rostered handguns.
                              Supply/demand sets the price.
The legal DPMS lowers are off the named roster of assault weapons.
So you are looking for an off-roster DPMS lower.

Or maybe you don't understand how ordering from an out-of-state dealer and having them ship to your local dealer works?
If that's the case, you just need to find a local dealer that will accept the receiver, get his FFL and CFD number and send it to the selling dealer so they can ship to your FFL.
