Steel casings

Hey guys/gals,
I was stupid enough to purchase lots of these Wolf rounds and I can't seem to find a range that allow using steel ammo.
Is there any shooting range in or around LA (even OC) that will allow me to shoot that Wolf crap?
If not, what are my alternatives?

Are you talking about indoors or outdoor ranges? I don't know of any outdoors ones that have problems with steel casings, although steel jackets and cores are often prohibited.

I believe ASR are GTG for Wolfs as long as they are handgun ammo. They don't allow steel though for long range or long guns.

It doesn't matter if it's outdoor or indoor. Just ANY range will do.

Most ranges wont let you use it so just sell it or go with me out to no mans land and I will help you shoot it.

Let's get this straight.......

Ranges don't like Steel Core Bullets, I have yet to hear of a range that won't
allow steel Casings. Unless they like to keep the shooter's brass, then that
would be Dirty Pool.

Not around my neck of the woods. I can take you to a secluded place in Rosamond or Boron that you could shoot all you want.

I understand all this guys but can anybody point me to a specific range that WILL allow steel ammo? One that has been "tested"...

If it is just the casing then you can go to a place to shoot if it is magnetic than I dont know of any.

Angeles Shooting Range has no problem with you shooting ammo that has a steel case (like your Wolf) but will NOT allow ammo that has a steel or bimetal jacket or steel core. So, get yourself a refrigerator magnet and see if it is attracted to your bullet (NOT THE CASE, the bullet (tip). If it does not attract a magnet, you can shoot it at Angeles Shooting Range.

wait until fire season is over? heard ranges are a bit more lenient with steel core ammo once fire danger is over.

but i could have heard wrong.....

next best thing if you really want to shoot it now is to look for BLM land (bureau of land management), make sure you follow the rules for shooting, then blast away. no fees, no strangers

We had a nice spot north of Mojave on BLM land that from what I heard has been used for years. Went out there 2 weeks ago and some A**hat put his Bee hives right in the shooting lane.
