CRPA and I have USAA for insurance .

USAA has been good to me as well. It is a separate rider on my valuable personal property policy.

When the peak limit sometimes doesn't even cover for a single firearm, people buy extended coverage so that if both (or all three) of their guns are stolen / damaged that they still have coverage to replace them.

Lots of people here actually own a collection of firearms - so leaving them uninsured isn't what many of us are comfortable with.

Most standard home owners and renters policies only cover $2K of firearms loss, give or take. If that's all you got, then no problem. Check your policy limitations if you don't already know what they are.

Regular policies will leave you woefully under insured for items such as guns, comics, collectible vinyl, jewelry, etc. When my vacation home burned-down, I got 2K for about 20K of comics and valuable LPs. Luckily my jewelry and guns were not there, or I would have been even farther in the hole.
