As I recall during Freedom Week the first vendor to ship to California that I heard of was Palmetto State Armory. Then the list grew and grew.

If I remember correct, when Midway announced they would they would sell & ship large (standard) capacity mags to Cali residents the floodgates opened up and it was total madness until the injunction was put in place...

I was logged into Calguns during Freedom Week like a online stock market speculator when the bulls are stampeding the bears...

OP, just remember that IF this happens, most of your CA retailers would be too big of a ***** to join in to sell to you, and if they did, theyd offer the mag brand nobody wants on the last day before a stay on it.

And for those that do join in to sell, expect a gouging like ammo during covid.

Prepper Gun Shop was the first IIRC. Bigger retailers were a bit slower (PSA, Brownells, Midway).

There won’t be another freedom week. Either SCOTUS rules mag capacity restrictions infringe on the 2A, and we can buy them freely, or they rule the bans don’t infringe on the 2A, and nothing changes. Just have to wait and see.

The best vendor during freedom week was brownells. They allowed backordering magazines. As long as you made the purchase during the legal period they will ship you your mags regardless of how long it took to restock. Some people were still getting shipments weeks/months later

For future reference...

Only in CA are they "high large capacity mags".

In the rest of the country that is still free they are known by their real name, standard capacity mags.
