        700barrels.com, AKbarrels.com, 22barrels.com & TCbarrels.com are just as good as well.

Probably a lot easier to turn the threads down so its not a "threaded barrel". I'm guessing thats your goal?

I do both thread elimination while leaving the barrel sticking out of the slide as well as simple shorten/crown to get rid of threads.
Some people want the comp though and then the comp needs to be perm attached so the threads are no longer usable to install a suppressor.

^^^ I'd be wary of this guy...with 53K+ post count..does he get any work done?!

But seriously..when I noticed that post count..is there anyone on this forum with a higher post count?

After reading the thread title I thought OP might be looking for some help before dumping something in Lake Mead.

Off-topic posts don't count towards your post count.
I primary post in technical forums.
So the off-topic mongers have lots more posts than me but they don't get accounted for by the forum software.

I have been a member 5900+ days so my daily post average is around 9 posts per day.

                        Question for Randall,

If I have LMT 16in/mid gas barrel
                        (this)

and want to chopped & then p/w a surefire SFMB mount

                        1. How short can you chop off and still be 16+ legal

                        2. But still have clearance for QD Warden on a 13.25 LMT rail
                        (this)

                        3. Will it affect cycling? feeding? ejecting? dwell time? etc.

                        Thank you
