    What sniper rifle is this?

    Hey guys,

Can anyone identify this thing? At first looked to be Soviet, but maybe not. Bolt action.

    Anyone?

If you learned that the man in this photo -- a professional assassin -- was the head of security at one of our nations most vulnerable nuclear facilities, would it trouble you? Or would it sound like one hell of a story?

VERY interesting story. Semi-relevant to your question. Don't mean to steal your thunder lol

French FRF-1 or 2 or somethingorother. Neat rifle showing just what can be accomplished when you start with a MAS 36 and think outside the box. Hopefully I will still be alive when they sell them as surplus 50 years after they are taken out of service.

HaHa! I read through that story but knew the guy was a fake from the very beginning of the article. Reminds of the wannabe character in "True Lies" they called "Carlos the Jackal". Too funny.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

The longer barrel on it makes a very handy pole for attaching a white flag.

Read up on the French Legionnaires. I'll wait here for you to pick your jaw back up to talk further.

The receiver looks a lot like a MAS-36. Very interesting...

Legionnaires are rarely French Nationals (at least that's how I remember it).

Anyway, if you can't make fun of the French, who can you ridicule? All the others have advocacy (victim) groups.

The French army has great stuff! Dropped once in soft sand. However the Legionnaires rifles are well used and have a tradition of kicking ***.
