Common ammo e.g. 9mm, M193, 7.62x39, etc has always been available, just not at prices people used to pay.

If you're gauging availability by one LGS or one online vendor, that's a small sample. Check ammoseek regularly and you'll get a true sense or availability/pricing.

You can tell there's still a whole lot of gouging still going on by the number of vendors selling a 9mm item for example, for 40-60 cpr, plus a high shipping rate, plus tax, while others are selling the exact same item for 30-35 cpr with free shipping and in some instances, as I have report in my deals thread, no tax. For many, that's another 8-10% savings.

I reached out to a LGS and asked them about 500 Magnum, they quoted me 95 bucks for a box of 20 and it wasn't even premium like Buffalo Bore .
