Okay, thanks for the help in finding the specs.
I have another question. The OG specs call for the tool to be made of steel. I don't see any reason why it has to be. It's a GO/NO-GO gauge and really isn't doing much. Does anyone see why this couldn't be made out of a nice hard anodized aluminum?
So, I'm looking for a tool. It has an NSN number. I don't believe that it's patented but I can seem to find any in stock.
Does anyone know how to find the schematics for tools with NSN numbers?
Here's the tool in question:

Brownells has one, but they are out of stock on them.
As you can see the Brownells one doesn't have any of the markings but looks just like it which is why I don't think there's a patent on them.
