Hey all, how are background check delays?

So apparently shops have noticed that delays have been going from, absolutely totally fine no problems whatsoever to everyone getting delayed. Only thing I can think of is demand because staffing shouldn't change so much. Called a place in NorCal and they said there really hasn't been any where as in Sac it will happen randomly. On a personal level, I heard that something simple as an address change can do it, I had 3 address changes in the past year so...

DOJ staff still working from home and other copout COVID restrictions?

Obviously another excuse to keep Californians from their firearms.
