I thought that I had seen the founder of Kel-tec, George Kellgren, do an interview and he still had a little bit of a Swedish accent while he spoke his fluent English but I wanted to confirm that...

"George Kellgren is the owner and Chief Engineer of Kel-Tec CNC. He designed many firearms earlier for Husqvarna and Swedish Interdynamics AB in Sweden. He moved to the US in 1979 and his original US designs were for Intratec and Grendel brand firearms. He founded Kel-Tec in 1991."

So even though he moved to the US when he was around 40 years old he still has that personal connection to Europe.

That's probably a son of his in the video.



The other thing I recall about that George Kellgren interview was that he said he would never design or redesign a revolver.
I think he said something roughly around the lines of..

"It wouldn't be fun for him because there wasn't much he could do to improve it or make it more cutting-edge."

I saw an interview on BBC of a Ukraine former government official who had a Sub 2000 beside him. He said he bought it at a firearms store in Kyiv two weeks before the invasion.

The BBC reporter was incredulous that he was able to buy it.

It's a great urban defensive weapon; I have one and it's never had a single issue. It runs like a champ. There are better guns to carry into a firefight but a Sub2k would be awesome to use as an ambush gun in tight quarters.

You don't "charge into battle with a 9 mm Rifle. You hide and pick off the enemy one man at a time. It's called "Guerilla Warfare" and that's how the CIA taught the Ukrainians to fight over the last 8 years. And that's what they are doing right now.

Only another Major Army could go head to head with the Russians, but the Afghans beat them with less than these guys have now. Stingers, RPG's and AK's was all they had to fight with. but they were able to make the Russians pay too high a price so they left. Thing was there was little of value in Afghan land. But the Ukraine was the Bread Basket of the Soviet Union and Putin wants it back..

The problem with this war is that the Russians are destroying the place so there won't be much to go home to but Farm Land.

I only hope that the world sucks up every cent Russia has laying around and gives it the Ukrainians to rebuild their country. Hello War Reparations!

Pretty sure the UK's pick up everything that isn't tied down. That's an important part of Guerilla Warfare.

What they could really put to good use is some AK Ammo with DU bullets!

Hitting a steel fuel tank with one of those would be spectacular! A lot cheaper than a Javelin too.
