Yeah, real bummer losing a good store. I like the crew working there. They've helped me so much in the past and good people. I was shocked to get their email notice.

I love that place. Probably has the nicest staff of all the Peninsula stores I've been to. I wonder why they're closing their doors.

Years ago I've always had good chats with one of owners about Norinco imports, those were the good days, sigh.

They were doing alot of good business due to Covid. Better than most years past. Sold out of most everything. Store was alwasy busy from what the workers told me. Very few places other than Reeds to compete with. Most likely cash rich and ready to move to better low cost area while its good. South Bay storefronts rents are expensive. Not good for small business.

The deals are apparently on anything except guns.

I think the margins on firearms are thin.

While that particular shop has been hit or miss for me, I appreciated that they kept some of their used/consignment guns out on the floor.

I particularly dislike having to talk to a sales person and have them watch me while I ask them "Hey, can I see that shotgun over ther? How about that that one? And that one? Also that one? What's that? Maybe that one too?".

Bought my first handgun and my first AK there. I think I also bought my GP100 there. Always enjoyed that place.

They were another local ffl that would not perform ppt's when required to do so by law.
