    Future of AR pistols?

Is the new ATF brace definition/retarded point system basically making these a complete headache to own? Or should I let my BRN180 dreams become a reality?

    Do you already own one?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

I guess we will just have to go back to the old days. No brace. Good thing i kept all my old stuff. Thordsten Customs has a nice Pistol cheek rest that works well

Unless you are roster exempt the federal laws are the least of your worries buying an AR pistol in California.

It's a wait and see the ATF points system might basically come down does it look like it's meant to be fired with one arm "braced". Just throwing wild assumptions out but probably no more lights, lasers, forgrips anything that would take a second hand to manipulate.

I'm just going to enjoy them as most I can until the new rules come out. I have a brn-180 build I love but if the rules are to restricted might just pin a long *** muzzle device on. It's gonna look dumb but cheaper than buying a new 16" upper.

Brace or not, foam pad or cheek saddle is fine. I'm eyeing a Franklin armory pistol.

There were plenty of ar pistols before braces its just a brace was cooler looking and often shouldered

Hopefully left alone, I still have a brace but it sounds like it is getting to a point I need to ditch it. Have a SBA3 on a Franklin 300blk I put together, just haven't shot it and not sure if I want to just sell it and stick to rifles.

This is BS! What about those of us with disabilities! I have debilitating golfer's elbow dammit. What's next? They ban our emotional support ponies on commercial flights? Ban my emotional support goldfish?

I gotta say, you don't often see a smiling guy with an AR pistol in a corporate conference room with calm, skeptical looking co-workers looking on. Interesting photo.

My apologies, I thought you wanted a semi auto AR pistol.
