i dont know of a gun store under 50 miles from me here in salinas that sell consignment handguns that releases on undetermined. -
drosed a consigment pistol in first part of june,6 days in got doj delay. at end of 30 days it became undetermined and turners refunded my money minus dros fees. waited 30 days and drosed another pistol, 4 days in it goes to delay. about 2 weeks later i dros another consigmnment gun, 5 minutes after drosin it turners gets adoj release for the other one for me and i take it home. today was 10 days and picked up the consignemt gun with no issues. and in the middle of it all i spent almost 4 hours on hold to talk to doj for 5 minutes twice. and spent 65 bucks for a life scan. this state is so tryin to keep us from guns. rant overLeave a comment:

Agree with Goldfish on this. I have multiple arrests, even one felony, NO CONVICTIONS.
And I've never been delayed.
For clarity, WHO DID YOU CALL, THAT MADE THOSE CLAIMS?
FEDERALLY, When a FFL in AZ, runs a mandated NICS BG check. Vast majority clear in minutes. 3 DAYS is the maximum allowed for a NICS/FBI DELAY. If they can find nothing to prohibit the transfer in that time. THEY MUST approve the transfer.
Not the 30 days codified in Crap O Fornica law. Here in Kali, it is the Ca-DOJ initiating the overwhelming number of delays.
In Az, getting consistent FBI/NICS delays, suggests something is amiss in the NICS records. Were I you, I would request your FBI RAP sheet and check for yourself.Leave a comment:

You get no arguments from me. But when does the government ever voluntarily refund anything for their incompetence/malfeasance, or even admit an error or a lie?Except there is no law that allows the Dept of Injustice to delay and delay for no apparent reason, not even attempting to give you any reason for your delay. A government agency that doesn't bother to follow it's own laws is the very definition of corruption.
If they can't do their job and provide you with a definitive answer (approved or denied) which is what you paid them to do then the very least they should do is refund you your DROS fee back, because you didn't get what you paid for. Otherwise it is nothing but outright theft.
The trouble is, the People have allowed all of this to happen. I don't mean by "voting wrong," either. I, for one, don't believe the "elections" are legit at all, long before 2020.Leave a comment:

Demonstrating that the Department of "Justice" is either woefully incompetent and/or weaponizing "the law" against Americans.

I was able to purchase some ammo today, no problem. Just after coming up “undetermined” for a gun purchase. Go figure.Leave a comment:

The California "government" - especially the Department of "Justice" - is ran by committed apparatchiks opposed to the very concept of self-defense, especially against them, provided for in the Second Amendment. So none of what's happening should be surprising.Leave a comment:

^^^ FIFY ^^^
Ca DOJ is CORRUPT TO THE CORE. They tell FFLs they only have to follow the law, "if they want to".
Then protect the FFL by refusing to hold them legally accountable for breaking the law.

OF COURSE you should! OF COURSE, none of this legalistic BS should be happening, either - "shall not be infringed." But the real-world reality is much different.Leave a comment:
