I was just watching 3:10 to Yuma again couple days ago with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Loved Peter Fonda's role playing that Pinkerton.

Have not seen anyone in the Media pick up the comparison... obviously would be RACIST to do so!

I wont mention how many times I seen some "Latino Guy" selling oranges at the local corners across Santa Clara County.

Wondering what kind of lock, or container would stop thieves using battery powered saws with cut off wheels or portable cutting torch kits ?

Electronic key pad locks, if bypassed and the box car doors are opened toxic fumes are released into the car.

...or once inside, secondary bar doors close with the perps inside.

Gas mask? Sure but another hassle and vision is somewhat limited.

Any variation of that 'may' be deterrent or at slow the perps some.

Expensive? How much is paid out in insurance monies as it is now?

                Pure fantasy.

Proposition 47, also known by its ballot title Criminal Sentences. Misdemeanor Penalties. Initiative Statute, was a referendum passed by voters in the state of California on November 4, 2014. The measure was also referred to by its supporters as the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act.[2] It recategorized some nonviolent offenses as misdemeanors, rather than felonies, as they had previously been categorized.

                  The crimes affected were:

Shoplifting, where the value of property stolen does not exceed $950
Grand theft, where the value of the stolen property does not exceed $950
Receiving stolen property, where the value of the property does not exceed $950
Forgery, where the value of forged check, bond or bill does not exceed $950
Fraud, where the value of the fraudulent check, draft or order does not exceed $950
Writing a bad check, where the value of the check does not exceed $950
Personal use of most illegal drugs (Below a certain threshold of weight)

If all of you would make me King of our Country for a day, I will amend our Constitution.

All citizens may use deadly force in the protection of Property. Property crimes will cease to exist in a few months.

All citizens may enforce the laws of the United States and any state. Immigration problems, rioting, arson and looting will cease to exist in a few months.

The greatest train 'robbery' of all time:

California politicians holding up taxpayers for over $33 billion for a train to nowhere, turning that into $100 billion estimated costs due to complete lack of awareness when pitching it - and still entirely useless.

And they are wearing masks while doing it - ( well, only sometimes, when the mood or media is right.)

Not bad ! A secondary benefit would be a gas mask, unlike rags, scarves and masks, would stop the Covid virus !

Oh wait we need lots of people with 4 or more comorbidities to die of Covid, because its the easiest way to steal an election.

A high ranking FBI agent said he could smell the Trump voters shopping at Walmart. Maybe put a few in each rail car.

I'd guess you mean a few 'high ranking FBI agents' in each car? Only if the cars take them to the re-education camps.

Since when does any carrier send firearms by rail? I thought arm's are over night only.

Sounds like these were multiples of manufacturer or wholesaler inventory on their way to another warehouse, wholesaler, or retailer. Not an FFL to FFL transfer scenario.

Likely large lots of various products, pallet loads, big heavy shipments in dedicated shipping containers to go several states, that included new production guns, maybe even coming in from South America/Brazil, Italy, Germany, or Asia, etc. and not uncommon to ship freight.
