honestly 1911 magazines can suck so it is possible he was giving decent advice or at least he might have thought so.

If the guy had said hey I took a real short deal here to match the price or I screwed up and lost some money, my shipping was more than I figured etc etc, ok, maybe I buy a couple extras to help him out. He didn't do that, he did a little play acting like he was trying fit a 1911 mag into a Walther, then yells at me about how I need good ammo and proceeds to ring it all up like I said yes to it. I have no problem with helping the guy stay in biz, right idea, wrong approach. The factory mag seats and ejects like hand in glove btw.

Seems to me like you found someone who's good at his job doing his job on you and he was so good at his job that you paid 350 over a reasonable price for the honor of letting him try to hard sell you on accessories and ammo. Forehead tattoo or no, other symptoms are the same.
