    Or, in other words:

Democracy is a riotous, violent flash mob collection of criminals and anarchists and a responsible, hard working businessman voting on what constitutes free enterprise. Liberty is well-armed rooftop Korean contesting the vote.

Except for those errors the rest is spot on. Thanx for sharing !
Some parts yes, some parts no.

History is funny because not everything that we are taught is 100% of the actual story.

Yes, the British did have what we would call a standing army but they were also hiring mercenaries the Hessian / Germans for example. The general concept for an army has changed somewhat since then.
Most modern militaries have moved away from some professionals as military leaders and lots of civilians who served partially as their duty to their country or because they were forced into it or other reasons.. etc and some Mercenaries if they're cheap enough and more towards what we consider a modern professional Army for each country.

But more to the point I will share today... there were loyalists (loyal to the king) militiaS that were against our American / fighting for Independence and Liberty militias, right here in the good old USA. It's just not covered that much in modern history books and never mentioned in schools. So yes, we were fighting against militias with our militias, but maybe not on the big battlefield type of historic ways.

" In the aftermath of the British victory, many Loyalists came forth to be organized into uniformed Loyalist regiments. The British called these "provincial" regiments. Loyalist militia patrolled the streets of New York. Loyalist spies were extensively used to get information about Washington's dispositions."

And as to how many years wars go on or actually last, is something that could be debated on almost every war. In Vietnam we were involved before we were actually officially involved. And even World War II there was a Japanese soldier who was still fighting many years after the "war had ended". Historians can and do give exact dates when Wars start and end but it's not always so cut-and-dry.

( I'm not debating or arguing your points though, just showing everyone we don't always get the whole story and I'm also bumping this threat to the top so more people can get the great founding father quotes and information here.)

Yes I see your point and today revolutionary militias are coddled, and forgiven for acts most would see prison for.
Professor Eric Clanton who attacked Trump supporters standing in line with a cable bike lock is one example. He was given 3 years probation by a sympathetic democrat judge.
Zack Greenberg who sucker punched and stabbed Trump supporters in 2019 has still not had his day in court ,nor will he ever.
ANTIFA and BLM are of course the most glaring examples of revolutionary militia forces that have the auspices of an occupying Marxist American Democrat Party .

So true. Which is why the left works so hard to cast them as archaic, old, white racists. To the left, nothing they had to say is relevant in today's conversation.

If you look at what is happening around the world with COVID-19 restrictions and mandates, it's the 2nd Amendment that has spared us from the lunacy seen elsewhere, at least for now. Just look at the Commonwealth nations, where they are mostly disarmed, and these people have been completely repressed by their so-called Democratic governments. While New York backed down, for now, it looks like Washington (state) is forging ahead with their war on the dirty unvaccinated. Eventually, a blue state is going to push too hard and the fireworks sheetshow will start.

That's why No school public or private will honor, discuss or teach the Declaration or Bill of Rights .

Its why we have 4th of July as opposed to Independence Day,its why April19 is not known or celebrated and of course its why the elimination of God or a supreme being is mocked ,ridiculed and or outlawed in many communist country's.
It's also why the same can be said about USA democrats and their 3rd party allies .
as a result, we have low information voters supporting aoc, omar , tlaib, presley, pelosi, spartacus, harris, biden .... all low class corrupt self-righteous politicians.

(C)onceived it to be the privilege of every citizen, and one of his most essential rights, to bear arms, and to resist every attack upon his liberty or property, by whomsoever made. The particular States, like private citizens, have a right to be armed, and to defend by force of arms, their rights, when invaded.”
