The seller has 6 I-trades since 2012..Well lesson learned..If they are 100% reloads this would be my first time getting some what of a bunk deal. Guess i will only use them in my old XD. Oh and by the way , the guns are just fine. If any dib's are to be given out i will go in order who called first dib's

Friends don't let friends shoot reloads, without giving them full warning. I let everyone know that I don't load hot but they are reloads and mistakes can happen. If it goes puff, don't tap, rack and shoot.Comment

I've loaded a lot of ammo myself, and some less than desirable results along the way. Never have I had a bottom blow out like that. I've had cases split that were used one too many time though.
It's not that hard to QC the reloading process to make reliable stuff if one is going to put it in the hands of another.
That ammo looks like someone doesn't know what he's even remotely doing. Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.Comment

If that company is still in business you might want to give them a call or send them an email because there is a slim chance that they might know about the issue and can confirm it with some type of Lot number listed on the box.
There's also a chance that if you bother sending it back to them for their "analysis" ( probably their trash bin) that they would send you a check or some type of compen$ation.
They also might want to send you more of their same high quality stuff.
What I'm getting at is, before you blame the seller check with the company that allegedly made them.Comment

it seems like what they're trying to convey is:
don't shoot twice = missing the first shot and had to shoot twice to hit the target.
shoot precision one = it only take one shot to hit the target by using their ammo.Comment

No not all the same headstamp. One is marked Win 9mm luger -cbc 9mm--blazer 9mm luger
i do not have a chronograph..

From their HOME page.
Obviously from the mixed head stamps. You got reloads.Precision ONe Ammunition
Made in the USA
New & Remanufactured Ammo
BUT THEN AGAIN, their website doesn't currently list any reloads in their 9mm line.
Coin toss as to who put reloads in that box before it came into your possession. The seller or the manufacturer?

"Don't shoot twice". You can't because the cases blow out on the first try...
Another person noticed that the primers look odd. As if the primer pockets have a massive chamfer.
I would pull a few bullets and look inside the cases, to see what else has been "improved". The burst cases seems "split", rather than with a large bulge over the feed ramp - or it could be the position they are lying in - the one on the right seems bulged in a typical manner due to an over pressure event.
The brass might seem brittle, rather than just over pressurized. Makes me wonder if the cases have been washed or polished with a chemical that made them brittle.
The bullets may be jamming into the rifling; or telescoping into the case on loading. Both conditions can raise the peak pressure. If you measure the overall length and then chamber the round off the mag, gently eject and measure again, that might offer a clue. If the round sticks in the chamber, check for land marks on the bullet. It may also stick in the chamber if the bullet has pushed back into the case.
Measure the bullet diameter while you are at it. If it is over .357" I would be suspicious of that. Should be .355 / .356".
Multiple chambering off the mag will shorten a round. That is not the question. The question is if it happens on one chambering.
Or, someone used too much propellant for the bullet weight.Last edited by subscriber; 12-24-2021, 6:30 AM.Comment
