    Improper serial number

    Hello,
    I am trying to register my M18 commemerative edition with Sig but I noticed today that the ffl put the wrong serial number on the dros form and the receipt.
    To claim my commemorative coin i need a picture of the receipt with the serial number and my name visible.
    Would sig understand or should I just forget about it?
    They just added a 5 on the end of the serial number.

          They (Sig) would probably be OK with it.

          Can you tell where they (FFL) got the extra '5' from - thin air or is there something they saw that made them think it was part of the serial number?

                  No need to reDROS it. The FFL can make one correction to the DROS.
                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

                      I was wrong, the discrepancy is only on the receipt.
                      Sig requires the receipt, but I sent them a pic of the dros form since the dros form is correct.

                          I would just scratch the trailing 5 off the receipt then, use an exacto blade and lightly scratch it away

                              Yea......... if all that's needed is to drop the last digit of the serial number as incorrectly printed on the receipt it couldn't be an easier edit.
