You could probably write an entire thesis on gun store culture, both the ma and pa owned lgs and the bigger sports stores with a gun counter, as they are different.

We have a lgs here where the owner doesn't allow any swearing, and he considers the word California a swear word. The guy is a walking encyclopedia once you get past his rough and gruff facade. Then there is the good-ole-boy network of guys who loke to just hang out and shoot the s&^t while you are standing around wanting to buy primers or whatever.

I know of this place. Also, he only accepts cash.
