Best thing would be to open up your own gun shop and then you can hire experienced people, train them and structure the shop to be the most efficient shop around.I don’t lose my **** and cause a scene when the line is out of control, I simply walk out. Last time I did that they apologized for the wait as I walked out and I said “tomorrow’s another day!”
Getting back to my OP, it’s not just that I see a lack of expedience when there’s a long line, I see what appears to be a complete disregard for expedience. People literally slowing down a transaction with completely irrelevant small talk. I’m not suggesting politeness and customer service go out the window, I’m suggesting that employees focus on the job at hand when there’s a line out the door.
You’re dealing with people. When I go to a store I don’t wanna talk to a robot. It’s like ordering off Amazon. About as much fun as taking a crap. The reason I’m a repeat customer at certain stores is because I’m dealing with a actual person.I’m sorry that you see that as a detriment to the storeLast edited by Rob454; 12-16-2021, 11:57 PM.Comment

A percentage of the profit as a commission per sale in addition to the hourly pay would certainly reduce irrelevant discussion outside of the product merits and attributes itself - but then has the downside of steering customers to things they didn't want and crap, upsales, and things they don't need.
Sure cuts down the time wasted on chit-chat with obvious lookie-loos though, and a good salesperson can see that type a mile from the store.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?Comment
