Man I miss the big Pomona show. They used to advertise "8 miles of table"....Boy they weren't kidding and no Beanie baby to be seen.
I miss haggeling with the dealers because I thought paying over $20 bucks for the AK drums was a rip off. SKS's were $90 bucks and AK's/Maks were $239.
AR's, Galils, FAL were everywhere. But alas, I was still in High School and as they say.."Caviar tastes but a Pizza Wallet".
Thank God I stocked up on cheap plentiful mags and receivers when I could.
It sucked back then when minimum wage was $3.15 an hour.
