Why do you have to prove anything? Why are you shifting the burden to yourself? What evidence would a cop or prosecuting agency have that you acquired them illegally and NOT during Freedom Week? Do you have receipts for the watch you're wearing? How are you going to prove you didn't steal it? Better start carrying around receipts for everything you own.Expert firearms attorney: https://www.rwslaw.com/team/adam-j-richards/

Asset forfeiture theft makes it a good idea to keep banking receipts with your money. Packets of sequential serial numbered notes with the banking withdrawal slip would be prudent these days. Why do you have to prove anything? Why are you shifting the burden to yourself? “It could be drug money”
Or
“Stolen money”

A slight tangent, here, but magazines made of fiber-reinforced-plastic will usually have a date code of manufacture moulded into them. My P-mags do..

So you pretty much need to carry a filing cabinet filled with proof of everything you have bought along with proof of where the money you used came from the taxes you paid on such earnings and it all needs to be notarized twice thumb print hair follicle cross referenced with retina scan and DNA sample . *Conditions are subject to change at any time .Comment

except as to those persons and business entities who manufactured, imported, sold, or bopgflt large-capacity)' magazines between March 29, 2019 at 2:24 p.m. T an<i April 5, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. PDT. Additionally, (Virginia Duncan et al. v. Xavier Becerra, 9th Circmt Court of Appeals Case No. 19-55376).
This CLENTR was sent at 11:30 p.m. on April 15, 2019 and continued being sent three times per day (at 7:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 11 :30 p.m.) through April 18, 2019.
On April 22, 2019, I directed staff to post the above statement on the CaliforniaLawEnforcementWebsite("CLEW"). CLEW is a secure DOJ website that is used by law enforcement, e.g., local police and sheriff departments, to access various law enforcement-related information, including training manuals, DOJ forms, or other pertinent information DOJ needs to disseminate to the law enforcement community.Comment

Yes I am familiar with the subject . More so on the local level in regards to law enforcement . The assets are basically stolen whether it be cash or property , cars ,homes , etc. Then is sold and half of the profits including cash assets are split with the gov and law enforcement then uses their half to purchase more equipment that will be used to steal more property . Certain states in the deep south can take money with out any reason . Stories of people on the way to purchase cars and other expensive items that are not available where they live travel to the areas that have those items and along the way pulled over on the highway searched for drug related probable cause which can be an officer just thinking you might have drugs . No drugs found but money is and the officer seizes the cash because he wants to . Then it's a court battle to get it back . It is a very serious problem . It is theft .Robbery . And needs to be stopped . But with all of the many different infringements on many other aspects of out rights I don't see it being addressed anytime soonComment

Once you go Featureless you never go back.Which is why, as this thread so aptly illustrates, going featureless is the way to go.
No reg, no bb. Just swap mags like a man and keep shootin'.
Rick, it cannot be overstated: Your participation here on CGN is worth it's weight in gold. And, it is a comfort. Thanks again for taking the time to post knowledgeable and relevant info, always.

And thanks Rick, I did not know it is not illegal to run a standard cap (hi cap) mag in a featureless rifle. So thanks for that!California Native
