    Are you shooting more?

I recently discovered that I can shoot THREE 9mm brass cased rounds for $1 now. Until tax. And shipping. But otherwise THREE!

I know, I know, reload. But I don't see that being worth my time, personally, until components are more readily available and I have more than enough time to go to the range.

Now that ammo prices have come down from completely insane to merely far too expensive, have you guys found yourselves spending a bit more time at the range?

I will once I retire in early December. I reload for all of my center fire firearms and have plenty of components. So, yes.

      Yes.

Was closely monitoring ammo levels 200 rounds a range trip was all I allowed myself. Now that 9mm is low .30's and around .50 for 556/223 I let that **** rip now.

Range trips went from once a month to six trips in the past two months.

No not yet. Waiting a little longer until going out target shooting again.

No. My local indoor range closed earlier this year.

No more, but no less. Have been lucky and stocked up with components. The less others shoot the more prices will come back down. Unlike gas, cause we all need to drive right...

Oh, boy! Congrats on your retirement. I feel so old, and yet am so far away from retirement...

It's a great feeling, right? I am definitely shooting more per visit, and the visits are up when I can find the time, too.

I hope prices continue to come down, and you're out there soon!

This is the biggest impediment. I literally schedule out 2.5 hours in the middle of my workday every couple of weeks to shoot, but half the time is just commuting. With more closures, that will become even more difficult.

If you never had to back down, that's fantastic. As a late "bloomer" when it comes to firearms, I didn't get into reloading in time for the pandemic.

I have been averaging a little over 100 rounds/trip. Mostly .22 LR, with lesser amounts of .22 WMR and 9mm. I hit the range every Friday, weather permitting.

I went this morning. Had a great time, and got to shoot my friend's Colt 1911, .45. Soooo sweeeeet!

Thanks, this will be quite an adjustment. I am a member of a private range ($200/year) and it is 7.5 miles from our little farm.

                    I'm stoked.

That's very convenient! Better build up your ammo stock!

Yes ..... a lot more often now!

The range ( indoor / outdoor) is a lot safer with NO wait!

I have components that my grand children will inherit. I'm good.

I'm still keeping the round count down. I am pretty low on rimfire, which is what I mostly like for practice. Once bulk packs are regularly available under 10 cpr, I will increase again.
