I'd probably just beat the crap out of it like it is. Beater guns are good.

I would just Hydro dip it. Easy to do yourself with a kit. Plenty of graphics.

      Make it look kool.

I agree with recpark99, pick a finish you like and have it cerakoted. It will be an upgrade.

keep it. Is it a safe queen? if not, its gonna get holster wear anyways.

Just make sure you dont drop it on carpet.

once it gets lots of holster wear , it will blend in better and look more like a patina.

Soak the rest of the slide in the same stuff, call it duotone, and add $100 to your price. :-)

Get a bottle of cold blue at the gun store and try it. It won't hurt it at this point.

Bluing is a rust process so it should be no surprise that evaporust takes off bluing.
Evaporust is a GREAT bluing remover!

What are my options here? I think it might be their matte blue finish?

                              1. Sell as is? What sort of price would be reasonable with the finish issue?
                              2. Refinish it? If so, options? Cost?

                              Thanks
The cost to refinish will exceed the loss you will take selling it so it's not worth refinishing it TO sell it.
A refinished gun will generally sell for less than an original finish gun too so all the more reason not to refinish before selling.
You can refinish it to KEEP it or you can sell it at MORE of a loss than a gun without a messed up finish.

I would not pay over $300 for that gun considering nice used ones fetch $450:
