    Drop in triggers

Does anyone have a recommendation on a drop in trigger for a S&W mp15-22? Ideally under $200.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

This is a little old but I found it rather interesting.

Basically any drop in trigger is going to be much better than a milspec lower. While the much more expensive ones are often higher quality after you get that huge boost from using any drop in there are diminishing returns. So you are spending much more for smaller improvements.

You will see a few listed there like the a Rise. If you can wait for sales you can find elftmann or some of the others down in your price range.

The cmc single stage flat bow is one of my favorites. Stupid easy to install.

There have been some really good recommendations listed in this thread. Rise and Hiperfire are two options that I would also recommend. Right now you can get a basic Rise for under $100. You can also find some really nice Hiperfire triggers for under $200. Prices can very a lot depending on what you're looking for in a trigger.

If you're looking for a Single Stage trigger your price will be on the lower side. If you're looking for a 2-Stage trigger your price is going to be on the higher side. Also, are you set on only a "drop in trigger"? Part of what makes these triggers more expensive is their housing and assembly at the factory.

If you're just looking for a better trigger than what came in the rifle you can save a bunch of money if you go with a standard 2-Stage replacement trigger. I don't shoot in competitions against other people, only against myself and for fun. I have this 2-Stage trigger in one of my rifles and really like it. For me it's was a great option, and right now they have it at a stupid low price of only $69.

While you're there looking around check out their Rise and Hiperfire triggers. They have a Rise trigger on sale for $89.

I put an ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger into my M&P Sport II (5.56) and have no complaints. Big improvement over stock.

I found CMC to be a little "gritty" in feel when compared to Geissele. But those were for 556. I dont know if 22LR uses same. Triggertech by far is the smoothest, clean breaking 2 stage Ive ever felt.

The larue comes pretty close to a Geisel when you consider price. I have thousands of round on my larue without any trouble.
