I really don't know what you want to hear/read. Why do you worry so much about your ammo? Are you worried that it might get stolen?

I have ammo and reloading components strung out all over my house, safe, shop, and probably my truck. I'm not worried about my kids, wife, neighbors or mailman getting into my ammo..

I do have the majority or it locked up in a cabinet in the garage but it wont stop anybody from taking it, just like a safe, it will just slow em down.

20k of ammo really isn't a whole lot and shouldn't take up too much room. If your worried about theft, grab yourself a job box and bolt it down. You can even bolt it down in your man room and use it as a beer table, I mean, coffee table.

If your wife isn't happy about your guns and ammo, you have a lot more to worry about then ammo storage ( your OP ? Was answered in post #2 ) I'd get that straightened out before you spend any money on ammo or guns. It just takes one stop at your local courthouse for all of that to go away.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
