NV is lost, they aren't going to stop passing these laws now that they have a taste of CA style complete authoritarianism.

So what happens if someone lives in Utah and has a old hunting rifle without a serial number. Are they no longer allowed to hunt in Nevada? What if they are paying through Nevada to another state?

Boulder City was where we wanted to move (6-8 months). But on closer examination NV is out. Annual smog checks on 1968 and newer. Now the criminalization of 80% arms and CA style PPT.
We're now looking at Lake Havasu in AZ - the daughter would rather inherit there anyway.

I think the law reads personally built since 1968 or some such verbage to make the pre 68 GCA stuff without serial numbers legal.

Here is the law. Happy reading.

The Nevada Legislature's site for finding and tracking bills, bill draft requests, and budgets from 2011 forward.

Sucks for folks who home built and registered with the NFA (SBR, suppressor, etc). Looks like they're hosed

It bans property legally owned before the law was enacted. Sounds like "taking" without compensation to me. Where are the lawsuits? NRA is basically worthless.

Thought if they do or do not have a serial it was done by the manufacturer.

Pre 1969 (when they didn't have to be seralized) are exempt.

What damages are you planning on suing for, the law is not in effect yet. It has effected nobody.
