The coupon was posted on calguns a few days ago and I just printed it, but its not good for firearm sales and expires on June 25. Hope this helps you out.
I read somewhere that America is safer place when criminals dont know who is armed, well that is why...."I'd rather be caught with, than without."

I only have 4. I let a co-worker shoot my M44 at the last BBM shoot and he handed back to me after ONE SHOT! & says "No more, it hurts my shoulder"
I tell him "But it has a metal pad on the butt to absorb the shock" and everyone laughed Then I hand it to a calgunners grandson who got busy with it.
He looked about 15 & weighed around 90lbs.

My first gun purchase was M44 from Big 5, now I have 2 M91/30s as well. i like to to shoot the MNs, but I did buy a rubber buttpad to keep the bruising down. Now, i can put 50 or 60 rounds through one in a day with hardly a sore shoulder to show for it. Despite having "cooler" or "more evil looking" and more modern rifles, the MN always comes with me and usually sees fire.

That is my story. I got some cool semi autos and I always shoot a few rounds and then out comes the Mosin's for the rest of the day.

As far as which Big 5 gun to buy, matching numbers on bolt and receiver, hex receiver instead of round, older is better date wise. If the bore is plugged with cosmoline it is probably still fine. Check out http://7.62x54r.net/ for more information than you will ever be able to remember.

That is not to bad a price nowadays. I would get it if it looks fairly decent. It can be addicting though as I bought one and now have seven.

Get it! Certain Mosins are harder to find nowadays. I remember when Big5 advertised the M44 and the M38 like crazy. Im still in the hunt for a M91/59 and a M44. The 91/30 are still nice and if ammo is hard to find or just way to expensive, just add the bayonet and stick people or use it as a club.

                                91/30's have way less recoil
