There was another thread about this gun...maybe some more info on that one
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

1oz projectile (450 grains or so) 200 feet per second, or 136 mph. It’d sting, that’s for sure.

Meh, I'll keep my CO2 rifle...it has a .75cal bore and shoots anything you can stuff down the barrel. Peanut M&Ms are a riot! Lol

It would probably be like being hit with a beanbag. They lose steam quickly too.

MK BALLISTIC SYSTEMS beanbag rounds are about 1.5oz at 250-300fps.

This puts out 75 ft lbs of energy according to the manufacturers web page.

A .22 short is about 50ft lbs of energy at the muzzle out of a pistol.
A Remington Golden Bullet .22lr out of a rifle are ~140-ish ft lbs

A Benjamin Discovery .22 air rifle pellet leaves the barrel with 130 ft lbs of energy

CCI Stingers in .22lr out of a rifle are nearly 200ft lbs.

Defensive 9mm loads in a 4.5" barrel can be 450 ft lbs
                        A 55gr .223 round is 1500 ft lbs of energy from a 16" rifle

A 12 ga shotgun slug is about 2200 ft lbs of energy from an 18" shotgun

It’s a good start for an early commercial unit, but it isn’t exactly practical for any kind of shooting yet.

My Red Ryder BB gun is way more deadly. It can even "put your eye out"

Surely someone will end up modifying it...

136 mph. A tad faster than a fastball is pitched.

I can come up with better things to buy for $3-4K
