i posted an “i’ll take it” on someone’s WTS ad and the seller decided to put that he would be at a san diego gun shop with the parts in hand after i had posted that i would buy it so i left negative feedback. just a few minutes ago, he left negative feedback for me. he never contacted me to make arrangements to meet in person, but is claiming i made him drive to san diego. can mods can see my private messages and verify??

Both erred.

Seller never posted no shipping thus putting criteria in place after being contacted by the buyer, left retaliatory feedback with no cause other than to harm the potential buyerand frankly was a bit of a jerk in the PMS.

Buyer made an offer in good faith but never made solid arrangements so negative was not warranted.

Retaliatory feedback happens in this forum, nothing you can do about it. The mods don’t care to police it.

I can't speak for all mods, but frankly it's a nearly impossible task. Every story has at least 3 sides or more, it's difficult to accurately rule out who was wronged and who was right. People have thin skin, thick skin, some are out to just cause trouble.

That said, it looks like the OP has his negative removed.

Hmm, you tryed to pay him 2 different ways, both times it failed on his on his side? And after less than two days,instead of working to see the deal through he gives you a negative review?
