Just an FYI, never pay anyone with a service like that BEFORE you're at the store to do the transfer. It could turn out way worse than a negative rating.

He literally gave me an hour today 7/23 so that text is right after I received the negative itrader notice. I did tell him to go F himself after he gave me the negative feedback, that was my bad. So frustrating. I wanted that rifle too.

Member since 4/29/2021? If so, stay away. 2 positive feedbacks don’t mean squat. Sounds like you just dodged a bullet a prevented yourself from getting ripped off.

Money shouldn’t exchange hands until both parties are face to face and ready to actually make the transaction on a firearm at an appointed FFL.

Was he asking for a small deposit to hold the rifle for you? Or were you going to send him full payment for a rifle you may have not even inspected first hand?

Way too few transactions to warrant a non ftf transfer. Whenever you do a wtb ad expect scammers. See what the mods can do. That's what they're for.

Highly doubtful you would have received a brand new Ruger Mini-14 for $650, let alone receiving anything at all. Most FFLs won’t even accept a firearm direct from a private party. Most FFLs require FFL to FFL transfers

I’d recommend messaging a site administrator and filling them in on this potential scammer (member: Bradley Wilcox)
