    1 in 30 days

I got a question about the new law taking affect on the first. If I buy a semi automatic rifle can I dros multi bolt actions on the same dros or can I only do the semi auto or multi bolt guns at a time?

You can DROS any non-handgun or semi-auto centerfire rifle with it.

I don't know this for sure, but the 1-in-30 may go back to that M1 Carbine.. so to be safe I wouldn't DROS the Garand until 30+ days after the M1 Carbine DROS. I'm not sure how recent "just picked up" is in context.

M1 carbine was purchased before the law takes affect. I would assume that the 1-30 would be after the 1st. But good point.

If you DROS a centerfire semi-auto rifle or handgun on 7/1, are you certain DOJ isn't going to check based on how the law is written that no application for a handgun or centerfire semi-auto rifle has occurred in the previous 30 days?

That's why I wrote what I wrote. However, please be the test case. Let us know if that gets rejected or not. It'll help others in the next few weeks if you can provide timelines of when your M1 Carbine was DROSd and when your Garand was.

Can you DROS a handgun & a semi auto rifle at the same time or does one count against the other? How about lowers?
History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes

Not unless exempt from 1-in-30 if it's a centerfire semi-auto. Rimfire semi-auto ok.

Lowers are not Semi-Auto Centerfire Rifles.

They are supposed to be from the 1-in-30.., but it appears everything is caught up in the 1-in-30 right now..
